Traditions

■ All students must bow to their instructors, recognizing and honoring their superior belt level. (This courtesy will be awarded to you as you progress in your belt levels.)
■ Students must address and answer the instructors respectfully and humbly. (Ex: “Yes Sir” or “No Sir”)
■ It is traditional to bow before entering and before leaving the DO-JANG. All classes commence with the bowing to the flags and banners, showing respect for the law and order of the country and to the ancient traditions of TAE KWON DO.
■ Learn the student creed as soon as possible. This pledge embodies the spirit of TAE KWON DO and with its principles all students must comply.
■ You will be learning some effective and powerful techniques. No one is to use these techniques offensively. When outside the school, these techniques are to be used only when your personal safety or the safety of others is threatened.
